Boy oh boy have I been waiting for this wedding to roll around on the calendar. As soon as Clare told me she was getting married at the Corn Exchange I got instantly excited at the possibilities for photos in such an amazing building. Lianne and I met here 10 years ago and coincidentally so did Clare and Jon… funny eh? What’s more, we’ve been a fan of Anthony’s cuisine for many-a-year as well, which just sweetened the deal obviously!
The girls got ready at Mint Hotel on this very sunny Sunday morning.

At our initial meeting Clare told me she’d already bought her shoes. This was way back in February! They were the first thing she bought ‘because they’re the most important’.

Lianne and I made our way over to Leeds Corn Exchange in the heart of the city. It truly is an AMAZING building and is one of the cities landmarks. It’s only recently, thanks to Anthony’s Piazza that you can now get married there in the stunning surroundings and I’m so glad they’ve now made it a possibility.

Anthony’s take care of all your catering, from the cheese cake (not a cheesecake!) to the individual cupcake tower that was handed out to guests. It’s ALL good! You can’t go wrong with Anthony’s amazing food.

It’s so refreshing to be able to get new angles throughout the ceremony that otherwise wouldn’t be possible in a regular wedding venue. Lianne and I worked the ceremony, one from above and one on the ground, both being able to circle the whole area and shoot from all angles. The results I think speak for themselves…
Come back tomorrow for part two!

Darren - Wow fantastic photos James. I didn’t realise that the Corn Exchange could be used as a venue for weddings – what a great place to get married. Nice work.
