Beverley had always told me her wedding was going to be ‘different’. She’d dropped little hints to me along the way… backyard venue… Alice in Wonderland theme… but nothing could have prepared me for how utterly amazing this whole day was start to finish! Never have we seen such astonishing flower designs. These were created by the Flower Garden in Brighouse. Back to Bev & Al’s back yard for their Alice In Wonderland themed afternoon tea wedding breakfast and reception complete with White Rabbit and Mad Hatter. Don’t be late! Bev & Al took their day so free and easy, that they decided to move their first dance from a scheduled 10ish to just after 6… on a whim… just because they felt like it… with no DJ, no lights, and just a laptop to dance to, they got up and danced and it was more romantic than any scheduled dance ever could have been. And for the fun of it, they had a second ‘first dance’ outside (no points for guessing the song by the dancemoves!) And Bev’s son’s band came on for the evening set with a special guest appearance from Al. ….All in their backyard! Thanks to Charlotte Wise, my able assistant on the day as well.
