Last week I ventured into South Yorkshire for the wedding of Beverley and Kevin at Tankersley Manor in Barnsley just outside of Sheffield. This place has a surprising amount of character for saying it’s just off the M1. It’s also surrounded by fields which make for a great back drop to any wedding.
Admittedly, I loaded the car with umbrellas before setting off as the forecast was for rain… lots of it. But when the guests wanted to be outside, the clouds broke and made my life easy (if you need a good omen for your wedding day weather, it appears that I’m it!)
Onto the photos…
We took a drive up the road to St Peter’s Church to get some alone time for the newlyweds but more importantly to get some shots of them just taking a breather and basking in that just-married glow.
Phew! It’s been a pic-heavy post but there were so many nice little moments that I loved on Beverley and Kevin’s day I just had to share them with you.
Congratulations to the both of you!
