Chantelle & Matt’s Belmount Hall Wedding set in the lovely Lake District was a beautiful and sunny day. Chantelle’s choice of gorgeous country-colourful flowers couldn’t have been more appropriate for such a sunny day. Getting ready in the bridal suite at Belmount Hall and Matt in a nearby cottage, they were a stone’s throw from their catholic church ceremony overlooking Coniston.
Travelling by Land Rover (what else!?), we made a stop at Coniston after their wedding ceremony to take some photos by the lake. Of course, being such a beautiful day the shoreline was packed with sunseekers and BBQs, but everyone was so helpful and scattered for our happy couple to have some unique wedding photos by the lake. Thank you people of Coniston!
Back in the Land Rover, it was back to Belmount Hall for drinks, live music and croquet. The theme for their reception venue was literature with every table named after a favourite book and decorated with more stunning, colourful flowers.
After speeches and a fantastic meal, it was straight into first dance and a ceilidh. We’re big advocated of a ceilidh, there’s nothing quite like it for making sure your dancefloor is full and plenty of hilarious, uncoordinated dance moves! They’re just unbeatable for photos!
As the sun set, we met one of Chantelle’s biggest requests for some photos of her and Matt together in the gorgeous sunset light if we were lucky enough to get it… and boy did we get it! The grounds of Belmount Hall are wonderful, tree lined avenues, walled gardens and manicured borders. It’s a little paradise and we were so happy to have the golden hour sunset to put the icing on the cake for Chantelle & Matt’s photos.
