Lorna & Daniel’s black tie wedding at Denton Hall was a wonderfully swanky affair. We love working here and have recently been made a recommended Denton Hall wedding photographer. And what a venue for a black tie wedding! With the gents in smart deep navy suits and bow ties, they were a very handsomely dressed wedding party. Meanwhile, Lorna was getting ready in the coachhouse enjoying a very laid back atmosphere, which was very much the theme of the day; a fancy affair but very laid back.
After their wedding ceremony in the Middleton Room, and a few tears from Daniel, (love it when a groom who blubs a little!) it was a grand exit to confetti on the terrace followed by a (very carefully prepared) champagne tower.
Daniel’s best man pulled out old report cards and certificates from Daniel’s childhood to make for some hilarious and super-cringey speeches before heading out after the meal for garden games in the sun. The garden games may have got a little bit competitive! Who knew a game of giant connect 4 could be so tense! Lorna tossed the bouquet too, with a clear winner and a stunned potential groom to be!!
We made time for portraits around Denton Hall with just a walk around the grounds keeping it simple, relaxed and in keeping with the day. There’s no shortage of wonderful backdrops, from greenery to architecture and everything in between.
The evening kicked off with Lorna and Daniel’s first dance followed by all their family and friends joining on the dancefloor under the glow of Daniel’s specially commissioned neon for their big day.
