Elsa & Dave have been a crazy couple right off the bat when we met them for their engagement shoot at Roundhay park. Have a click here if you didn’t see what they got up to (there was hanging off bridges and dangling over lakes involved!). Their wedding was just as fun and they packed as much of that fun in as they could. It only stopped raining for about 20 minutes of their entire day but despite that the day was full of amazing belly-laughs and big hugs and all sorts of big-grin moments. It really was a great day with two great families.
This one might need some explaining! The ceremony had all my favourite primary school hymns (Shine Jesus Shine, anyone?) and guests were given appropriate percussion instruments just like in primary school to jingle and jangle along with. The fun never ends with these two!
In between courses everyone played games. The first was heads or tails which resulted in a whole-game running streak of tails which sparked some suspicion! The following game was pass the parcel which yielded plenty of excited photos of people who got the parcel and then disappointed when there was another layer underneath.
We saw our chance during the only 20 minutes it stopped raining for the entire day (not knowing how long it would stop for) so dashed out down to the lake for some more fun photos as quick as we possibly could before the heavens opened again. I absolutely love how playful these two are!
