Paul & Jo’s wedding is going to be a big one for us. You see, even though we shoot weddings every weekend throughout the year we can still get nervous, it keeps us on our toes… it’s a good thing. We get butterflies in our tummies sometimes when we’ve been so excited to work at a particular venue for so long and the date finally comes along and today’s the day we have to make it look amazing. It’s a big thing! But Paul and Jo’s wedding is a bit of a different kinda ‘big thing’ for us. One of the biggest honours you can receive in the wedding photography game isn’t an award or an accolade, it’s being asked to photograph another wedding photographer’s wedding. Paul is the Stott of Stott and Atkinson Photography. Phew, big thing! But when talking to Jo about the details of their day and knowing she is the brains and talent behind the amazing Jodie Anna we know that this is, after all, a beautiful wedding that we’re going to love and we’re there to document these two and their families coming together to celebrate into the night… it’s what we do best.
Earlier this week we took a road trip across to Whitby and got down to some serious fun around the beach and back alleys of the little seaside town. But we kicked off (and ended) our tour at the quirky little vintage cafe and B&B La Rosa for some chat and easing-in photos. Enjoy.
