There’s nothing like a wedding close to home and Vicky & Simon’s Victoria Hall Wedding in Saltaire is right on our doorstep 🙂 Getting married in the heart of a picturesque UNESCO world heritage site is something a little bit extra special. We kicked off the morning at Hollins Hall Hotel nearby with Vicky, her bridesmaids and her little one lending extra helping hands. As the morning progressed children rolled in, family rolled in and it was a room full of laughter and giggles. Meanwhile, Simon greeted the guests at Don’t Tell Titus across the road from Victoria Hall.
The ceremony was held in the wonderful York room in Victoria Hall with views over the rooftops of Saltaire. A wry tear here and there and it was downstairs for drinks in the main hall. After a short but sweet portrait session in the streets of Saltaire it was a confetti exit for our happy couple to make their way to Hollins Hall for their reception. Good food and a few speeches later, complete with a selection of embarrassing photos from younger days, the evening rolled into a nice relaxed blend of conversation and signature cocktails. The kids were entertained with hand made ice cream until the sparklers and the first dance rounded off the night.
